problems with package a

Residents of Ocean Beach would like to uphold the original wording of Ordinance 21275 protecting Ocean Beach as a Historical District.

San Diegans made it clear to the Planning Commission on 11/6/2025 that there are many problems with Preservation and Progress Package A: legal problems, environmental issues, and more.  Many concerns were expressed and the full meeting can be watched here:  Video of Planning Commission meeting, 11/6/25 

We have a looming question about the wording on page 78 of Package A.  This question is in addition to a long list of questions, issues, and concerns about Package A  voiced by San Diegans.  Some members of the Preservation Community would like to ask: "Just who will be deciding what a "contributing resource" is and how will that be decided?"
